Srini graduated from Purdue Unviesity in 1992 with Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering. Srini has over 10 years of watershed modeling and agricultural engineering experience. He is the Director of the Spatial Sciences Lab and Professor at Blackland Research Center and Texas A&M University. Srini has lead several nationally important projects such as the Hydrologic Unit Model for the United States (HUMUS) project, the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) BASINS project, and the Real-Time Hydrological Drought Information system. He teaches advanced GIS topics and GIS programming class for graduate students.
